Neil White DipPFS
Neil is a qualified adviser with over 30 years’ experience in Financial Services. He joined Scottish Mutual in 1983 spending 5 years at their Bristol Office, initially as a trainee and later as a Broker Consultant covering the South West, before leaving to become an Independent Financial Adviser in 1988.
He joined his father's IFA practise in the West Midlands, subsequently moving up to the North East in 1990 to set up a new branch office. This business, which became KWM Consulting Ltd was eventually sold in 2005 to a national firm.
A brief spell there led to the establishment of a new venture when, in January 2007, the Atkinson White Partnership was formed.
As the company's pension transfer specialist, Neil advises both individual and corporate clients on their pension requirements. He also advises clients on their lump sum investment, inheritance tax planning and life assurance needs.
Originally from Birmingham, he is married with two grown up children and enjoys walking his dog, playing squash, golf and following the (mis)fortunes of West Bromwich Albion.
Simon Atkinson DipPFS
Simon is a qualified adviser with 30 years Financial Services experience. He joined Guardian Royal Exchange in 1987 as a broker consultant, before taking up a position as an Independent Financial Adviser with Barclays Insurance Services Ltd in Leeds in 1992.
When Barclays closed its operation in 1997 he joined an IFA firm in Harrogate, where he spent a further 5 years before returning to his home town of Darlington. Here he began working with Neil White in a firm which subsequently became KWM Consulting Ltd, of which he became a Director.
Following the sale of this business in 2005 to a national firm, he felt he could serve the interests of his clients better locally, rather than through this national organisation, and therefore, in conjunction with Neil, decided to set up Atkinson White Partnership in January 2007
Simon advises individuals, corporate and Trust clients on the management of their investments, as well as providing advice on pensions and inheritance tax work.
Simon is married, has three grown up children and enjoys walking his dog, playing golf, and is a long suffering season ticket holder at Middlesbrough FC.
